Linux: three sources, two answers
The developer’s pinned FAQ (September 2) answers “What platforms is it on?” with “Steam for PC, Steam Deck, Mac & Linux.” The Steam store page, read the next day, lists Windows and macOS only. On the Suggestions forum a player asking about Linux got the reply “they removed it which is really annoying, it used to work perfectly in demo.” Treat native Linux as unconfirmed; the practical route is Proton, which is also how the Deck runs it.
Steam Deck
Lefto’s launch post lists “Steam Deck support” among “the usual bells and whistles”, and the FAQ says yes to Deck compatibility. The store page shows no Deck Verified rating as of September 3 — Valve’s review usually lags a launch by days or weeks. Voice chat matters here: two of the three roles need a working microphone, so plan for a headset.
Consoles and crossplay
No console version exists, so crossplay is not a question yet; the forum and search data (“is bombanana crossplay?”) show people asking anyway. Windows and Mac players on Steam play together already. When a console version is announced this page will say whether it can join Steam lobbies; nothing has been said either way.
Requirements if you are on PC
300 MB of disk and integrated graphics are enough: see system requirements, including the RAM figure that differs between the store page and the FAQ.
Thanks for the feedback!
