Where the bombs are

The demo happened entirely inside the minivan — the “trusty minivan” of the store page, a cluttered blue interior with a green table, a fridge, a radio, a basketball hoop and a bomb on the bench. Launch added new environments; the store page names a plane and asks “what other environments can you defuse bombs in?” without listing more. We describe only what we have seen on camera.

Hazards, as Lefto describes them

The launch feature list groups them as power outages, loud noises and hazardous objects that “can disrupt communication”. In play they map onto the three roles:

KYRSP33DY’s launch-day trio met the radio first: the Mute Monkey pointing at it was misread as “this song sucks” before anyone realised it was a hazard. Agree a “hazard” gesture before you need one.

CHAOS modules

Three of the fourteen launch modules are CHAOS modules, “designed to keep the Blind Monkey busy”. They cannot be completed; they are managed until the bomb is defused. The one we have footage of is a slider that creeps upward on its own, marked with a yellow warning triangle — the Blind Monkey pulls it back down between every real input. Give it a rhythm (“pull after every press”) rather than a person; the modules page lists what is verified.

Environmental interactions

Objects can be picked up and thrown: bananas, bottles, the manual itself. The fridge opens, the hoop scores. The store page calls this “more opportunities for monkey business instead of actually disarming the bomb”, which is accurate.
