Bombanana Cable Module (Wires): Rule, Callout and Mistakes
The rule, as printed
The Cable Module is the one manual page Lefto Studio has published in an official screenshot. The rule under the diagram: “Cut the correct cable based on the number of cables connected to the module, and the color of the active light.” The right-hand page is a lookup table with rows for the cable count and columns for the light colour.
What each role sees
- Deaf Monkey: three to five coloured cables running across the panel and one lit LED. The colours and the light are the only things that matter.
- Blind Monkey: the cables as outlines; the finger can follow each one and cut it. Colours are invisible, so the answer must arrive as a position (“the third one”), not a colour.
- Mute Monkey: the page above.
The callout
“Cable, [position on the bomb]. Four cables. Light green. Left to right: red, blue, yellow, white.”
Count first — the row of the table depends on it, and a trio that starts with colours makes the Mute Monkey wait. Lirik’s group settled on exactly this order by their fourth level: “Four wires and green light. From left to right…”
Two mistakes worth naming
- Answering in colour to a blind player. “Cut the red one” means nothing to someone who cannot see red. The Deaf Monkey converts the manual’s answer into a position, and the Blind Monkey repeats the position back before cutting.
- Cutting a second cable. Once the correct cable is cut the module is solved; some trios keep going because nobody said “done”. Say it.
Where it appears
Cable is the first module in both the demo and the 1.0 campaign (level 1), and stays in the rotation: KYRSP33DY’s trio met it again on later bombs alongside the Calculation module. Cutting five correct cables unlocks the Wirecutting Expert achievement (29.5% of players on Sep 3).
